“In vino veritas. (In wine there is truth.)”
— Pliny the Elder, 23–79 A.D.
Chantal and her twin daughters, Laetitia and Astrid, divide their time between the sunlit vineyards of southern France and the vibrant neighbourhoods of Toronto, bringing together two worlds shaped by rich cultural traditions. In France they move through rows of grapevines and centuries-old cellars, learning the rhythms of the harvest and the subtle language of terroir; in Toronto they immerse themselves in galleries, theatres, and bustling food markets, absorbing contemporary expressions of art and hospitality. This bicultural life has given them a deep appreciation for craft—whether in a carefully tended vine, a thoughtfully composed exhibition, or a welcoming meal shared with friends.
Their experience in the arts, wine and hospitality is not just a profession but a shared passion they hope to give back to others. Together they create experiences that blend the elegance of French wine culture with the warmth and innovation of Canadian hospitality: intimate tastings guided by story, pop-up events that pair local artists with small-batch producers, and workshops that teach hands-on skills from pruning to pairing. Their goal is to invite guests into a space where taste and creativity meet, fostering connections that celebrate both place and people.
